It turns out that laziness is not the main reason why Sylvester Stallone has raged at his fellow actor Bruce Willis who has left "The Expendables 3". A source with knowledge of the situation tells The Hollywood Reporter that the latter exited the project upon learning that he would be paid $3 million for four days of consecutive work on location in Bulgaria for the ensemble movie.
"He said he'd drop out unless he got $4 million," the so-called source reveals to the site. "A million dollars a day. Stallone and everybody else involved said no." The insider adds that Willis had not expected Sly could get his replacement as soon as he dropped out of the production. "I think [Willis] was pretty surprised he was replaced in 72 hours by Harrison Ford - a better actor, a much nicer person and a more interesting direction for the film."
On Tuesday, August 6, Stallone sparked media frenzy with his tweets. "WILLIS OUT... HARRISON FORD IN !!!! GREAT NEWS !!!!! Been waiting years for this!!!!" He wrote, before adding, "GREEDY AND LAZY ...... A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE." Though he did not specifically mention any name on the second post, media have predicted that it was aimed at Willis.
"Indiana Jones" star Ford is not the only new face in the franchise. Ronda Rousey, who is courted for "Fast and Furious 7", has been on board along with Kellan Lutz and welterweight boxer Victor Ortiz.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham and Mickey Rourke will return for the next sequel.
