Jenelle Evans Arrested for Heroin Possession and Assault

The troubled 'Teen Mom 2' star is jailed for owning
heroin and attacking her husband, Courtland Rogers, who
is also arrested for allegedly hitting his wife's neck and
head.
Jenelle Evans got herself
into a trouble again as
Brunswick County Police
arrested her on Tuesday,
April 23. According to TMZ,
the police, who was called
to Evan's home following a
report that said she and
husband Courtland Rogers
were fighting, discovered
12 bindles (small foil
packages) of heroin and
percocet without
prescription in Evan's
possession.
In addition to being charged with heroin and controlled
substance possession, Evans is charged with assault after
Rogers claimed that she hit him with a piece of furniture
during the altercation. Rogers was then arrested too for
allegedly assaulting his wife by "hitting her on the neck
and striking her with a closed fist on her head" and
possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell and
distribute.
Evan's attorney, Dustin R.T. Sullivan, confirmed the arrest
news to E! News. He said that Evans was in custody with
two $10,000 pending bonds, one for the drugs
possession charge and one for the assault. According to
Sullivan, Evans was "very upset. She was crying in court.
This just happened. She was in bad shape."
Addressing Evan's arrest, a source told Radar Online,
"Courtland set Jenelle up." The source believed that the
drugs belonged to Rogers and "with them living together,
anything found in the common areas of the house leaves
all residents accountable."
This wasn't Evan's first run-in with the law. In 2011, the
21-year-old star of MTV's " Teen Mom 2 " was arrested for
attacking another woman. In 2012, she and her then-
boyfriend, Gary Head, were arrested on drug and assault
charges.
