Gucci Mane Indicted On Assault Charge In Bottle Brawl Incident

Judge hits rapper with one count of aggravated assault for hitting a solider in the head with a bottle.

Gucci Mane was back in court on Tuesday in Atlanta, where a judge indicted him on one count of aggravated assault in connection with an incident in March.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution,, Gucci (born Radric Davis), was indicted after a soldier accused the rapper of hitting him in the head with a champagne bottle at the Harlem Nights club in Atlanta last month. The victim told a local news station that Gucci hit him while he was trying to talk to a security guard.

"I'm in the military. I wanted to get a picture with Gucci Mane, is it OK?" the soldier said he asked the guard. The alleged victim said he received 10 stitches at a local hospital following the assault. Big Guwop turned himself in to police on March 26 and was denied bond,
 which forced him to stay behind bars for two weeks while awaiting the court's decision.

After his arrest in March for the alleged Harlem Nights assault, Gucci was accused in a similar case in Philadelphia, where a man said the MC punched him in the jaw at a Philadelphia bar two nights later.

"I haven't ever been so humiliated in my life and disrespected," said the victim, who claimed that the "Spring Breakers" co-star punched him in the jaw in the early hours of March 18 in Philadelphia. "He punched me on the left side of my face, right here in the jaw, knocking off my glasses."

Representatives for Gucci Mane have not returned multiple requests for comment from MTV News on the two assault claims.
