Batman And Bond Slug It Out For Best Fight At MTV Movie Awards

Django, the Avengers and Ted also square off at Sunday's show.

Some of the biggest heroes in movie history fought epic battles in the last year, and that's why the competition at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards forBest Fight may be the stiffest ever.
So who will take home the Golden Popcorn: Batman? The Avengers? Bond? Django? Ted? It all comes down to your vote!
Best Fight: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson & Jeremy Renner vs. Tom Hiddleston (Marvel's The Avengers)
Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner vs. Tom Hiddleston in "Marvel's The Avengers"
This was the fight so epic that it took up the back third of the movie. To be fair, we waited four years for Marvel to deliver on their promise of seeing the Avengers fight side-by-side on the big screen, and when that moment finally came, it did not disappoint in the least. Joss Whedon found a way to put all six Avengers in the same battle and have us excited to see each one along the way.
Christian Bale vs. Tom Hardy in "The Dark Knight Rises"
That one hurt. Audiences around the world felt every blow of the near-silent fight scene between a weakened Batman and an ultra-strong Bane. The Gotham-sieging terrorist took advantage of the Caped Crusader's bad knee and soon-to-be bad back. When all was said and done, the Batman was broken, and things weren't looking good for Gotham City.
Jamie Foxx vs. Candieland Henchmen in "Django Unchained"
The "Django Unchained" shoot-out — without a doubt — takes the title of the bloodiest bout of the year. Though it was less a fight and more of a massacre at the hand of Jamie Foxx's Django, the showdown at Candieland demonstrated why Tarantino is considered a master.
Daniel Craig vs. Ola Rapace in "Skyfall"
Each James Bond movie follows a basic formula, but that didn't stop Daniel Craig and director Sam Mendes from delivering an electrifying opening sequence unlike anything we've seen in the series' 50-year history. 007 chases his quarry in a car, then on motorcycle, before taking to the top of train in an escalating chase sequence that's sure to become a franchise classic.
Mark Wahlberg vs. Seth MacFarlane in "Ted"
We're not playing favorites here when we say: Props to Mark Wahlberg for getting beaten up by a computer-animated teddy bear like a man. The extended and brutal fight sequence in Seth MacFarlane's "Ted" reminded us of our worst fights with our best friends — if our best friends were bears who came to life thanks to a wish on Christmas Day.
Will Jennifer Lawrence get her silver lining in the form of a Golden Popcorn? Which beefcake will sizzle in our brand-new Best Shirtless Performance category? It's up to you to decide the winners of the 2013 MTV Movie Awards! Vote now, and tune in Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET, as star Rebel Wilson takes the stage at the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California.
