R'n'B/soul diva Jennifer Hudson has just come out with new music by way of her latest recording entitled "Gone, Gone, Gone". It serves as the 31-year-old singer's newest release after her 2012 "Think Like a Man" duet with R'n'B crooner Ne-Yo and might just make it to her forthcoming album, the follow-up to her 2011 LP "I Remember Me".
In "Gone, Gone, Gone", the Grammy Award-winning belter gives listeners a 90's throwback tune where she declares her independence from her no-good man. Hudson sings, "So I'm gone / like the rent you done spent up, at the strip club with your friends, buying them dollar dances."
The multi-awarded singer and Oscar-winning actress brings the drama to an end in the fed-up female anthem as her vocals soar to hit the high notes she's known for doing excellently ever since her "American Idol" competition days and "Dreamgirls" role portrayal. "I'll be gone / like the job you had last week, like the promise you don't keep, like the dealer took your Jeep," she sings.
Speaking of "Idol", the season three finalist has been confirmed to take the place of outgoing judge Nicki Minaj. Despite openly announcing that the three other judges were also welcome to stay, Randy Jackson, Keith Urban and Mariah Carey were also apparently not being invited back for the next season of the long-running TV singing competition.
