Super Bowl XLVII: Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz And More Make Their Picks

Lil Wayne

A$AP Rocky, T.I. and more give us their take on Sunday's big game.

If you listen to Las Vegas oddsmakers, the San Francisco 49ers are slight favorites heading into Super Bowl XLVII ... though, really, what dothose guys know?
After all, according to nearly everyone in the hip-hop world, it's the Baltimore Ravens who will hoist the Lombardi following Sunday's big game ... at least that's what we've discovered as a result of our wildly unscientific survey, where we asked as many rappers as possible for their Super Bowl picks. Turns out, almost all of them — with the exception of"diehard" Niners fan Asher Roth — are riding with the Ravens ... even if they don't want to.
Super Bowl XLVII: A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, T.I. More Weigh In
"The Ravens are like our sworn enemies," Steelers fan — and Pittsburgh native — Mac Miller laughed. "Ray Lewis, you are born in Pittsburghhating Ray Lewis. The Niners? They had a great season, they deserve the Super Bowl, but if the Niners win, they have just as many Super Bowls as [the Steelers]; and I don't want the Niners to get that. So I guess I'm cool with having the Ravens win it."
In fact, most seemed to think that it will be retiring Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis that will help lead the team to victory ... and not just with his play on the field.
"You know the Baltimore Ravens are gonna win that joint," Pusha T said. "Ray Lewis is saying he's going to retire [and] I think he brings a lot of energy to the whole National Football League, and what better way for him to go out?"
"He showed that he deserves to be called the champion," T.I. added. "So I think that's how he's going to go out."
Of course, there are those who have other reasons for rooting for the Ravens — "They've got a team member called Flacco," A$AP Rocky laughed — but overall, Baltimore appears to be hip-hop's choice to win it all. Except when it comes to Lil Wayne ... as a Green Bay Packers fanatic, he doesn't know who to cheer for in the Super Bowl. So instead, he's just gonna sit this one out.
"My team's not in it," Weezy said. "So I ain't trippin'."
