Mumford & Sons took home the last trophy handed out at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. The folk rock act nabbed Album of the Year title for "Babel", triumphing over strong contenders The Black Keys and Jack White, as well as relative newcomers Fun. and Frank Ocean.

Accepting the award from Adele, Marcus Mumford got bleeped out when he said they didn't win last year because of the "Skyfall" songstress. He went on thanking the Grammys for having "opened their arms," as his actress wife Carey Mulligan watched and wiped tears on the audience seat.

Earlier that night, Mumford & Sons won Best Long Form Music Video for "Big Easy Express" which was announced at the pre-telecast. The band also took the stage as a performer, singing "I Will Wait" off their award-winning album.

Another big winner that night was Fun. who was named Best New Artist of 2013. The American indie pop band also snatched Song of the Year for "We Are Young" ft. Janelle Monae. When accepting the award, lead singer Nate Ruess quipped, "But we're old," as he claimed they had been in the industry for 12 years.

Gotye nabbed another coveted title, Record of the Year, for "Somebody That I Used to Know" featuring Kimbra. He had earlier won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance trophy for the same song and Best Alternative Music Album gong for his album "Making Mirrors" at the pre-telecast.

Among other winners at the live show were Adele, Kelly ClarksonCarrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band. The British songstress won Best Pop Solo Performance for her live rendition of "Set Fire to the Rain" at The Royal Albert Hall.

Wearing a red floral frock, the mother of one said, "Thank you so much. This is amazing." The big winner at last year's Grammys added, "I just wanted to come and be part of the night. I loved it last year, obviously."

Clarkson, meanwhile, nabbed Best Pop Vocal Album for her sixth studio installment "Stronger". Her fellow "American Idol" alumna, Underwood, won two: Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for "Blown Away".

Zac Brown Band grabbed the Best Country Album title for their record "Uncaged". It was the only nomination the band got at the prize-giving event this year, and they managed to win it over the likes of Hunter Hayes and Miranda Lambert.

Losing the Best New Artist title, Frank Ocean didn't come home empty handed as he received the Best Urban Contemporary Album award for his debut solo album "Channel Orange". He also shared Best Rap/Sung Collaboration title with Jay-ZKanye West and The-Dream for their collaboration in "No Church in the Wild".

Jay-Z and Kanye won two other prizes, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, for "N****s in Paris". Jigga's wife Beyonce Knowles grabbed a prize for Best Traditional R&B Performance thanks to "Love on Top".

Country music beauty Taylor Swift and R&B/pop princess Rihanna were among other winners at the February 10 show. Swift was one of the musical performers that night, kicking off the show with her "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" on a Carnival-like set.
